Val Starr – Co-Founder/Marketing & Sales

For over two decades, Val Starr, has been active in the music industry developing and breaking recording artists through radio promotion. She has worked for the industry’s leading independent promotion firms in top-level executive positions, including West Coast Director of Crossover Promotions at Jeff McClusky & Associates, Vice President of Promotions at Modern Music Marketing, and Sr. Vice President of Promotions at Rotations, Inc. as well as directly for many major record labels including ABC, Chrysalis and Polygram Records.
Actively involved from the earliest days of streaming inception, Ms. Starr launched one of the first, multi-formatted Internet broadcasting stations, allradio.com. In 1999, Ms. Starr founded and launched ChoiceRadio, which was subsequently acquired by Internet Radio Inc. Ms. Starr continued on as the President of the newly formed Internet broadcasting firm until September of 2002. In spring of 2003, Val Starr launched her third and most successful radio property to date, GotRadio.com. Armed with over 8 years of online radio streaming expertise, Corstarr emerged to help facilitate industry revenue growth with turn-key audio ad solutions and integration.

Justin Corbett has over 10 year’s industry experience with information technology and multimedia advertising. Corbett has consulted for numerous multinational companies including multimedia software development for Nissan North America. In 2003 Corbett began working with GotRadio as the technical manager before co-founding Corstarr Radio, LLC in 2006. Since then, Corbett and has gone on to architect and direct development for Adcor, the premiere ad serving technology for Corstarr Radio and StreamAble Solutions. |
